Saturday afternoon at 4:30pm the Huron County OPP received a report of a single vehicle collision at a private drive along Amberley Road in Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh Township.
Officers attended with members of the Lucknow Fire Department and Huron County EMS to find that a vehicle had struck a person in the driveway.
The victim was taken to a local hospital by Huron County EMS where they were pronounced deceased.
Members of the OPP Traffic Investigation Management and Enforcement Unit and the Huron County Crime Unit are assisting in the investigation.
The investigate is in its early stages.
