The Stratford Police Service alongside the Stratford Optimist Club have made up 250 stuffed toys made after the police service’s top dog, Jack.

The stuffed toy will be used to give to children and youth when police arrive to respond to a call.

Some stuffed toys will also be given to children in the community to help build a strong connection with the police.

Before the pandemic, Jack and his handler often went to schools and other events which almost always drew a crowd to learn more and ask questions of the seven year old German Shepard.
