A provincial zoning order which was made to help bring in a glass factory in Stratford has been taken off the record for the month.
This will end the chapter in the ordeal bringing much relief to the opposition of the development of the glass plant. At the request of council, Municipal Affairs Minister Steve Clark agreed to revoke the MZO in March but required public consultation.
In a letter written by Minister Clark he said the MZO had been revoked and no longer in effect.
The land which was to be used near the Wright Business Park will be returned to its previous designation for agriculture.
