The federal government is helping offer easy financing for the country’s tourism operators who continue to struggle throughout the pandemic.
While businesses begin to reopen some tourism dependent area’s still see their issues as international travel is off the table and domestic travel stays low.
The government is offering a mix of non-repayable and no interest loans to finance capital improvements.
Officials say they hope this money will help businesses in the tourism sector avoid a debt too high which would result in shutting their doors.
