A 29 year old Stratford resident has been charged with assault and forcible confinement following investigation from police.
The 29 year old was arrested on June 22nd after police were contacted about a woman who had fled from an apartment on Home Street the day before.
Police determined the woman had been allegedly the victim of domestic abuse. A warrant was issued for the 29 year old who was arrested without incident.
The accused was released from jail after being granted a bail in a virtual courtroom.
Another court date is set of for July 19th.
