Midwestern Ontario Receives Government Funding

Boost for local infrastructure

Perth, Huron, Bruce, Grey and Wellington County’s are a part of a $51.2 million investment from both the federal and provincial government for public infrastructure.

The funding will support the development of modern and accessible recreational spaces and replace a number of equipment in health and emergency facilities.

Some towns include North Perth will be receiving over $170,000, Stratford with over $500,000, Howick receiving over $80,000, Minto with over $120,000 and Hanover with over $90,000 in funding.

Other uses for this investment include increased options for transportation and renovation of municipal infrastructure and community centres.
