The Ontario government announced today that they are investing $3.7 million dollars to ensure as many residents as possible are vaccinated for Covid-19.

The partnership is with the Ontario Community Support Association and it will assist those with disabilities, including seniors with mobility issues, to get to and from vaccination sites to get their vaccine.

Over three quarters of Ontario adults have received at least one dose of vaccine with almost 26 percent fully immunized.

The program will see eligible individuals connected with staff and volunteers who will drive them to vaccine appointments.

The program is open to both those getting their first dose and those receiving their second.
