On June 20th around 6:15pm, Wellington County OPP alongside Mapleton Fire & Rescue and Guelph-Wellington Paramedic Services responded to a serious single vehicle rollover on Fourteenth Line in Mapleton Township.
Investigation revealed the operator of a tractor cutting grass in the ditch on the roadway rolled down a steep embankment and pinned the driver underneath.
The 77 year old of Alma was pronounced dead at the scene.
Members of the Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team are working with Wellington OPP in the investigation.
