Milverton’s Boshart Industries Named Living Wage Employer

Living Wage employer on United Way Perth Huron Research and Planning council

Boshart Industries has been designated as Milverton’s newest Living Wage Employer under the Champion Category for United Way Perth-Huron’s Social Research and planning council.

Melanie Higgins, Senior VP of Human Resources at Boshart Industries saying in a release “We care about our employees and recognize that paying a living wage represents a critical investment in the long-term wellness of our employees by fostering a committed, qualified and healthy workforce.”

A Living Wage employer under the Research and Planning council is based on living expenses for a family of four with both adults working full time for at least 35 hours a week.

After all calculations from taxes and deductions for Perth and Huron Counties is set to $17.55 per hour. More information on Perth-Hurons Living Wage can be found on their website.
