Howick council remains undecided on next steps after teenagers were arrested for vandalizing the pavilion at Wroxeter Park totaling over $9600.
Howick Reeve Doug Harding says he’s been in chats with OPP about the youth involved and going forward with a diversion program.
In terms of repairs for the pavilion, Operations Manager Brady Nolan says replacing the shingles with a steel roof, repairing plywood ceiling, repairing the light standard, painting walls to cover graffiti, cleaning the concession booth and replacing the fire extinguisher all run a total of over $9600.
Council for the time has decided to direct Wroxeter Village Management and the Wroxeter Parks Board to meet with staff and discuss what should be done for repairs.
