The Town of Minto and the Minto Chamber are in the process of collecting items from Minto businesses to create newcomer swag bags (i.e notepads, pens, small samples of products that they sell etc.)
They will be hosting pop-up newcomer events in each community where Minto newcomers can come and ask questions, get information and grab a swag bag and/or recycling bin.
There will be 100 bags made in total.
The Pop-Up Reception Dates and Locations for Newcomers are:
- June 22nd – Clifford Celebration Square
- June 23rd – Harriston Tannery Park
- June 24th – Palmerston Lions Park Entrance
All sessions will be from 6 to 7 pm on the date above.
Businesses that are interested in adding items to the bags can call the Minto Chamber to arrange for pickup the week of June 14th or sooner.
