First Death in Ontario Linked to Blood Clot from AstraZeneca

1 million in Ontario have received at least one dose of the vaccine

 

Ontario is reporting the first death from a blood clot linked to the AstraZeneca vaccine.

The provinces associate medical of health says a man in his 40s who received the first dose at the end of April, passed away a few weeks later from the rare blood clotting disorder.

1 million in Ontario aged 40 and up have received at least one dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine with 13 reported cases of blood clots associated with the vaccine.
