Traffic Stop in Erin over long weekend leads to Impaired Charge

This past Saturday, at approximately 6:30pm a member of the WEllington County OPP stopped a passenger vehicle for a traffic offence on Trafalgar Road north of Wellington Road 124 in Erin.

As a result a 39 year old male of Guelph has been charged with operating while impaired blood alcohol concentration 80 and failure to comply with a probation order.

A 90 day administrative drivers license suspension and 7 day vehicle impoundment were initiated. The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph on June 11th.
