Moderna announced Tuesday its COVID-19 vaccine is safe to be administered on those aged 12 and older.
This announcement could pave the way for approval to be used on the age group from both the United States and Canada. As of right now, only the Pfizer vaccine has been approved for use on those aged 12 and up by Health Canada.
Of 3700 tests from those aged 12-17, findings showed the vaccine reacts to the same way it does in adults with the same expected side effects such as sore arms, headache and fatigue.
