Ontario Science Advisors Say Outdoor Recreation Could Reopen

Stay-at-home could likely be extended past May 19th

The Province’s Science Advisors have said that Ontario could safely reopen many outdoor recreation facilities even if the stay-at-home order is extended.

Officials say golf, tennis and beach volleyball are low risk activities.

They add activities related to workplaces such as carpooling and sharing workplace lockers represent greater risks of COVID-19.

All fingers have pointed to Premier Ford extending the stay-at-home order which is set to end May 19th.
