The Huron-Perth Healthcare Alliance is making adjustments to their COVID-19 assessment centres.
As of next week, the assessment centre at the Stratford Rotary Complex will no longer operate on Saturdays with reduced hours of 9:15am-8:30pm from Monday-Friday.
Andrew Williams says this change comes as the demand on certain days and hours isn’t there
“We’re typically running the assessment centre Monday-Friday and we trailed the weekend Saturday slot to give it some changes and testing requirements for workplaces and schools and the demand on the centre has just not been there.” said Williams
Huron-Perth Public Health has now expanded those eligible for a vaccine to those 50 and over and a select group of those who can’t work from home.
