Elliot, Horwath and Fraser Respond to Fullerton Conference

Liberal John Fraser, accepts responsibility while speaking to reporter outside of conference

Multiple parties have all responded to Long-Term Care Minister Merrilee Fullerton’s conference which ended early as Fullerton left the conference before finishing the question period.

Health Minister Christine Elliot when asked if the government would take responsibility or apologize for the deaths of those in long-term care, Elliot said it was a question for the minister of long-term care.

NDP leader Andrea Horwath says the Ford government has always been “last minute Larrys” while Liberal John Fraser wants to look ahead at what needs to be done.

Fraser responded to a reporter outside the question period of a conference to take full responsibility for not doing more for long-term care while the Liberals were in power.
