Stratford Officials Respond to Planned Protest

Stratford Mayor says the group does not have a permit or approval for the event

 

City officials with Stratford, Huron-Perth Public Health and Stratford police all met to discuss their response to a planned anti-lockdown protest planned at Lower Queens Park this weekend.

The event is organized by No More Lockdowns Canada. A group led by Randy Hillier who has defied lockdown orders and a member of the End the Lockdown Caucus with PPC leader Maxime Bernier.

Stratford Mayor Dan Mathieson saying on social media the city has not provided a permit or any approval for the event and shares the community concern about the planned public gathering.
