Two local area parts suppliers are on the receiving end of grants targeting the auto parts industry.
The province dedicated 10 million dollars in total to assist the industry on Monday through over 100 grants given.
Locally LVA Stratford who supplies plastic injection molding to makers of seat and doors received 100 thousand dollars for new software. Listowel Technologies a local area supplier of plastic molded parts also received 100 thousand dollars for a technology upgrade.
The government says the grants will be a small boost that will create nearly 26 million in industry investment and should create 570 jobs across the Province.
