Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health is now allowing adults 70 years and older per-register for a COVID-19 vaccine.
This comes as the province intends to start vaccinating those 70 and older starting next month. Public health says per-registering does not mean you will get an appointment right away as they continue to book appointments for those currently eligible.
Public health is also asking if you are younger than 70 to not try to book an appointment and cause phone lines to go down or cause any website crashes as recent bookings have previously caused these issues due to high volume of those booking.
