Today is International Womens Day.
A day to reflect and appreciate the strong women in our homes and out in the community making a difference.
Lisa Suffern, financial advisor and franchise owner of Cooperators in Listowel, says any woman can make an impact in the community and sees a bright future ahead.
“I would encourage every woman to follow their dreams, regardless of what they might be… I think its so important to have a strong team around you. Mentors, people you can lean on and get opinions. It is so exciting to see what is out there for young women and what the next 50 years will hold.” said Suffern
Suffern added while there still may be some bumps ahead, its great to already see strides being taken to empower women in the community.
