The Coldest Night of the Year is officially wrapped up and for North Perth and its been more than a success.
Many teams and individuals walked out and raised funds and awareness for those experiencing homelessness, hurt and hunger. Shelly Blackmoore from the North Perth Community Committee says the total raised was way beyond what they hoped.
“We originally thought we could raise $28,000. We actually raised $65,298.” said Blackmoore
The funds raised will go directly to support charities serving those experiencing homelessness.
