School has been back with in-person learning for two weeks and 8 schools in the Wellington Dufferin Guelph Health Unit region report student Covid-19 cases.
As of yesterday the Upper Grand District School Board is reporting student cases in the following Wellington County schools:
Erin District High School – one case / one cohort-class cancelled
JD Hogarth Public School in Fergus – 4 cases / 3 classrooms closed
Cases were also announced at the following Guelph schools:
Sir Isaac Brock Public School – 1 case / all classes open
Guelph Collegiate Vocational Institute – 1 case / 1 classroom closed
Westwood Public School – 1 case / 1 classroom closed
Cases in Dufferin:
Princess Elizabeth PS in Orangeville – 1 class / all classrooms open
No cases have been reported in the Wellington District Catholic School Board.
Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board is reporting 3 student cases at St. Benedict Catholic Elementary School in Orangeville. The school was closed temporarily because 7 teachers had to self-isolate as a precaution.
