The Provincial Government has decided to keep the Regions of Toronto Peel and North Bay Perry South with the Stay-at-Home Order and not transition them to the colour coded framework as expected on January 22nd.
The only region to make the move is York who will move into Red Control Monday.
The other regions are now expected to move into the colour coded framework on March 8th.
This move comes after Health Officials in Toronto and Peel requested the extension.
The Mayor of Toronto John Tory says he expected the delay in light of the community spread in the area and concerns of the more transmissible variants already in those communities.
