Huron-Perth has reached a milestone in their covid-19 vaccine roll out.
All Huron-Perth residents in long term care and high risk retirement homes have received their 2nd dose of the Pfizer vaccine. Dr. Miriam Klassen reported the milestone during Thursdays press conference.
Other groups who were eligible in the first phase of the vaccine roll out were staff and caregivers in long-term care and retirement homes, select front line healthcare workers and adults in high-risk indigenous communities.
Dr. Klassen finished by saying those who are eligible for a vaccine but have not yet gotten a first dose will be contacted directly.
