Nestle S.A. the parent company for the Nestle Waters Canada has sold it’s  operations here in Canada and those in the States to a private equity firm for $4.3 billion dollars.

The sales doesn’t include it’s premium water labels such as Perrier, San Pellegrino and Acqua Panna. Brands included in the sale are Pure Life, Poland Springs, Ice Mountain and Deer Park.

The sale comes after a previous deal with Ice Rivers Springs didn’t go through due to it not meeting Competition Bureau requirements. The deal at that time was for the Pure Life brand.

The purchasing private equity firm is One Rock Capital Partners. The New York City based firm is partnering with Metropoulos and Co. a firm that specializes in investing in food and beverage brands.

The deal is expected to close this Spring.
