Only one week after schools were reopened for in person learning but there have nine schools, three in Wellington County have reported COVID-19 cases in the Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph region.
As of Monday 5 schools in Guelph, Erin District Highschool, JD Hogarth Public School in Fergus and Minto-Clifford Public School have all seen COVID-19 cases. The case counts are all low with only one classroom closed, other schools have kept all classrooms open.
All schools affected are part of the Upper Grand District School Board. Wellington District Catholic School Board has reported no cases of COVID-19.
Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board reported two student cases at a school in Orangeville.
