One person is facing charges after they were found to be breaching conditions of their release.
This morning just after midnight the Huron County OPP was assisting the Perth County OPP in locating a person on an unrelated matter when they observed a person inside an apartment building on Wellington Street, in the Municipality of West Perth that was similar in description to the first individual.
The investigation revealed that while this wasn’t the person police were looking for, they were on condition not to attend that apartment building.
As a result a 37 year old resident of Stratford has been charged with 2 counts of failure to comply with a release order and failure to comply with probation.
The accused is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
