Local hockey is in mourning after former coach Bill Brown passed away from his battle with cancer.
Brown played junior hockey in Owen Sound as well as spending time coaching teams in Wingham, Walkerton and Kincardine. He helped lead the Wingham Ironmen to the Schmalz Cup semi-finals in the 2013-14 campaign as part of the coaching staff and general manager.
Brown was 66 years old.
