The Equine Hardship Program is designed for businesses to help cover animal maintenance costs brought on by the pandemic. The program hopes to mostly help those providing riding programs and camps, who have been unable to operate because of COVID-19, completing cutting off their revenue to provide regular horse maintenance costs.
The program provides up to $2500 per horse with a maximum of $20,000 per business to help cover costs for feed, water and veterinary care. The program helps cover those who are not eligible for the Risk Management Program and AgriStablilty.
