Premier Doug Ford in a twitter video last night spoke of COVID-19 getting much worse before any signs of getting better in the coming months.

Projected modeling data is expected to be released tomorrow with more harsher restrictions likely being announced this week as well. Data could show up to 6000 new cases of COVID-19 per day before the end of January.

Premier Ford added mass vaccinations will not become available until late spring and early summer. Over 100,000 have been vaccinated so far. The Premier also mentioned the mass of COVID-19 patients across overwhelmed hospitals and that Ontarians need to stick to protocols such as wearing a mask and continuing to wash your hands.

Premier Ford said last week the option of a province wide curfew – similar to Québec’s is not off the table and is a serious consideration to halt the spread of COVID-19.
