Livingstone Manor here in Listowel has seen two of their staff members receive the Pfizer vaccine today.
The vaccines were administered in London at the Vaccination Centre located at the London Health Sciences Centre.
This represents the first two local residents to receive the first vaccine approved for use in Canada. They return to London in 21 days for their second booster vaccination.
The second vaccine manufactured by Moderna received approval today with doses expected to arrive within the next few days.
2 million doses are expected by the end of the 1st quart of 2021.
