With students heading back online for remote learning, the province has announced additional funding to help families cover school supply costs.
Parents of public, private or homeschooled kids between age 13 through grade 12 will be eligible to receive a one time payment of $200 per child to help cover costs needed for their students to have the tools they need to keep learning online.
Elementary school students will be learning online until at least January 11th, while highschool students will be online until January 25th. School board officials in Perth and Huron County say they are better prepared this time around for remote learning than they were back in March.
Applications will open up next month
