An online petition is garnering much attention signatures, calling for ski hills in Ontario to remain open during lockdown.
The petition says skiing and snowboarding are among one of the safest sports to be taking part in, including face coverings, space between others on the hills while making the change of riding on a chair life with those in your household only. Blue Mountain announced their plans to comply with provincial regulations and close on boxing day.
The petition as of this morning has gained over 35,000 signatures.
