The Avon Maitland District School Board has reached a tentative deal with the Secondary School Teachers Federation District 8 Teachers.
Ratification meetings and votes on the deal are anticipated to be held in January or February.
There are 430 secondary, occasional and continuing education teachers working for the Avon Maitland District School Board.
They have been without a contract since August of last year.
