The Covid 19 outbreak at the Medicine Unit of Stratford General Hospital has grown by one as another staff member test positive for the virus. The announce came from the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance Saturday.
The staff members are self-isolating at home and won’t return to work until the end of their quarantine and are not displaying any symptoms.
The Medicine Unit is the same location residents of Cedarcroft Retirement Home were transferred to starting in November.
The unit has restricted visitors to the unit. They are providing updates to caregivers and relatives of patients admitted there when possible and also facilitating virtual visits when possible.
