Huron Perth Public Health’s Medical Officer of Health Miriam Klassen has revealed that due to several factors in and around the Huron Perth Region that we may be moved into the Orange Level of the Response Framework for Covid 19.
Dr. Klassen said the number in neighboring municipalities and also the number of hospitalizations with some due to the outbreak at Cedarcroft Retirement Home are making the push possible.
“I think we are in consideration to be moved into Orange. When you look at factors like what’s happening in neighboring regions like Waterloo and Southwestern Ontario. When you look at the number of people that are in hospital right now due to decanting those are all factors that speak in favor of moving to Orange.”
