A big day to help spread awareness and support for children, youth and families that many are here to help.
Dress Purple Day arrives next Tuesday and the call is on for all Ontarians to show their support and wear purple. Executive Director of the Huron-Perth Childrens Aid Society, Shaun Jolliffe says that locally, their support for those youth in need is always available no matter the time or day.
“We’re there anytime, there’s a need out there when people want to reach out to us. Were open 24/7 we will respond at anytime of day or night to whatever people want us to help out with.” said Jolliffe.
On top of wearing purple on the 27th, everyone is encouraged to post on social media with the hashtag I Dress Purple Because to help spread the awareness across the world.
