One of Canada’s biggest farm shows has had to see a change of pace this year. This time around they’ve gone digital and so far the success has been through the roof. Farmers from not only around the Province but around the world have been able to be a part of the digital show.
As President of the Outdoor Farm Show, Doug Wagner says, even though the show is different this year, the positives of it have not changed.
“The format is a bit different. We have a digital platform that’s quite interactive. So far the response from the attendees has been pretty positive.” said Wagner. He added that he hopes farmers across Ontario will ride with them and keep going digital, learning together as they go.
“We certainly hope they will join us, take a look and learn what this virtual thing is all about because its probably just as new to them as it is for us.” added Wagner
A proposed sale of part of the Woodstock Research Station was given to Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show this week, giving them a permanent home in Woodstock allowing for future shows to thrive even further.
