An online petition is going around to try to bring back the old welcome sign of Mount Forest. The old sign drew locals and travelers with a slogan of “High, Healthy, Happy.”
Mount Forest is about 430 meters above sea level, making it one of the highest towns in Southern Ontario.
Some residents in and around Mount Forest were disappointed to find a new welcome sign – one that is missing said slogan. Many turned to social media and hope to present their online signatures to Andy Lennox, Mount Forests’ Mayor.
The change.org petition has amassed over 500 signatures so far.
