Perth County has been named a recipient of Canada’s Safest Public Sector Employer.
Given during the Canada’s Safest Employer Awards at a ceremony in Toronto, the event honours organizations and individuals which demonstrate exemplary workplace health and safety performance, innovative safety practices and strong commitment to protecting the well being of employees, contractors, visitors the public.
Warden Dean Trentowsky says this accomplishment is a testament to the continuous commitment of council and staff to prioritize workplace health and safety as a core component within the public services delivered by all county departments.
