The Listowel Salvation Army is holding an open house on Monday for residents to learn more about Hope Links as well as other programs available to the community.
The info night starts at 7pm and will dive deep about opportunities and more community programs as well as the impact of the work being done with the Salvation Army.
Gwyneth Woods, Community Family Services Manager from the Listowel Salvation Army says they also have hopes to have some interest in those to volunteer and join them.
“Really what we want to do with all of our programs is to build community. We want to connect people with community programs. We really want to invite people to participate in this process and so there are many opportunitiesĀ for that. Maybe they can only help on a weekly basis or just two hours at Christmastime. Either is fine.” said Woods.
The doors open at 625 Main Street East at 6:45pm with presentations starting at 7.
