It was another successful run for the Warden’s Tree Planting event for Wellington County.
The long standing tradition brings employees from the County and local municipalities together to plant trees, enhance public spaces and strengthen connections across communities.
Over 850 trees were planted on Tuesday which builds on the Green Legacy Program which has planted over 3.3 million trees in the county.
Warden Chris White says its become a model of environmental stewardship and this years planting will benefit residents for many years to come.
