Wellington County OPP have charged a 49 year old after a traffic stop in Erin led to a drugs and gun seizure.
On May 24th OPP monitoring traffic on Wellington Road 26 in Erin stopped the driver a black sedan at 2:30pm who was seen driving erratically.
As a result a 49 year old of Waterloo was hit with a series of charges who was found with a firearm and a quantity of drugs.
Charges include Operation While Impaired, Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose, Careless Use of a Firearm and Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine.
Over 500 grams of cocaine, a loaded handgun and over $10,000 in Canadian cash was seized.
