Perth County OPP have charged a 48 year old man after a call in Perth East.
On February 22nd at around 10am, OPP responded to the Perth East Public Library after a report of someone brandishing a firearm.
Police discovered the weapon in question was an air-soft gun. There were no injuries from the incident.
As a result a 48 year old of Mitchell was charged with Mischief, Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose and Failure to Comply with a Probation Order.
The accused was remanded into custody.
