A 44 year old has been charged following a break and enter in Mapleton.
On February 26th at around 4:30am, Wellington County OPP responded to the break in at a home in town with a suspect fleeing the scene before police arrived.
The accused was found on March 7th and arrested.
The 44 year old of Howick has been charged with Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose, Trespassing at Night, Criminal Harassment and Possession of Break in Instruments.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
