A two vehicle crash which claimed one life in November last year has resulted in charges against a 45 year old.
Police responded to the scene just after midnight on November 5th with Huron County Paramedics and the Howick Fire Department to the intersection of Howick-Turnberry Road and Fordwich Line in Howick.
Crews arrived to find two heavily damaged vehicles with three occupants involved.
Both drivers were treated at local hospitals with a passenger being pronounced deceased at the scene.
Investigation by police has led to a 32 year old man from South Bruce charged with a slew of offences including;
– Operation while Impaired – blood drug concentration,
– Operation Causing Death,
– Operation Causing Bodily Harm,
– Dangerous Operation Causing Death,
– Dangerous Operation Causing Bodily Harm,
– Possession of Schedule I Substance – Cocaine.
The accused was arrested on March 7th and released with an April 22nd court date.
