31st Industry Day welcomes spectators to Grand River Raceway

Special memorial race will be held for Paul Walker, former President of the Grand River Ag Society

Next Monday, August 2nd is Industry Day at the Grand River Raceway in Elora.

This year marks the 31st Annual holding of the event and it will also mark the return of spectators in full force to the track.

Industry Day is the largest day of the race season at Grand River Raceway and will host 2 feature races; the Battle of the Belles and the Battle of Waterloo.

The day will feature an Ontario Sire Stakes undercard and over $600,000 in purse money to be own.

There will also be a special memorial race held in memory of Paul Walker, former President of the Grand River Agricultural Society.

The full day will see 11 races with a post time of 12:30pm. Guests will be welcomed from 11:30 am onward on Monday, August 2nd.
