A 30 year of Arthur was arrested twice just a few days apart after separate incidents in Arthur.
On May 2nd at around 7am, OPP responded to a report of a suspicious person on George Street in Arthur.
Police located a person with a vehicle with two kayaks which had been reported stolen, it was also found out the vehicle involved was taken without consent.
The 30 year old was charged with Theft Under $5000, Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000.
A 30 year old of East Garafraxa Township was also charged with Taking a Motor Vehicle without Consent.
The Arthur resident was released with a future court date but was arrested again on May 4th.
Police were called again to George Street at around 5pm with a person being held against their will at a residence.
Officers were able to locate the victim who was not injured.
The 30 year old was charged with Forcible Confinement and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Fentanyl.
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
