A shopping lifting incident in Fergus has resulted in multiple charges against 3 individuals.
On May 6th at around 11:55pm, Wellington County OPP responded to a reported shoplifting at a retail store on Tower Street South.
As a result a 43 year old from Brampton was charged with multiple offenses including seven counts of Possession of a Credit Card, two counts of Possession of an Identity Document, Personation with Intention to Avoid Arrest Prosecution or Obstruct Justice (Identity Fraud) and Theft Under $5000.
A 53 year old from Brampton was also charged with Possessing Counterfeit Money and Possession of a Schedule I Substance.
A 23 year old of North York was charged with Theft Under $5000. All 3 were given future court dates in Guelph.
